Launch of MIPEX in Serbia

MIPEX Research Coordinator Thomas Huddleston will launch MIPEX Serbia in Belgrade, together with partners Grupa484. MIPEX is the 34th country to be 'MIPEXed'.

At the EU final event of the British Council's Language Rich Europe project, MPG Policy Analyst Thomas Huddleston will analyse the links between country's integration policies, the teaching of the national language, and the teaching of immigrant languages.

Thomas Huddleston, MPG Policy Analyst, will key provide information from MPG's recently updated briefing on family reunification statistics and policies, using Eurostat data and the Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX)

MPG Policy Analyst Jasper Dag Tjaden will speak on the international comparison of education outcomes and policies for immigrants, and will present his paper on migrant education in comparative perspective.

MPG Director Jan Niessen will present how to use the Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX) to measure integration policies at an international conference organised by the Ministry of Integration of Baden-Württemberg.

MPG links integration and multilingualism

At the final event of the British Council's Language Rich Europe project, MPG Policy Analyst Thomas Huddleston will analyse the links between country's integration policies, the teaching of the national language, and the teaching of immigrant languages.

Thomas Huddleston will provide an overview of the EU Member States’ policies on housing rights, requirements, and discrimination protections for third-country national workers, family members, and long-term residents. He will also suggest relevant indicators for housing outcomes across the EU.

PASOS (Policy Association for an Open Society), together with the CRPM (Center for Research and Policy Making), is holding an international conference on Open Government, Deeper Democracy – Strengthening civil society actors in opening up policymaking. Think-tanks and policy-makers will be in attendance from the Western Balkans, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and South Caucasus.
